Job Description

Novel Office is hiring fresh graduates for the role of IT Support Executive in Bangalore. Candidates with a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields and a passion for technical troubleshooting can apply. This is a great opportunity for freshers to begin their career in IT support.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Freshers 0–1 year experience are eligible
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to different office locations across Bangalore
  • Basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts
Eligibility Criteria
  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, mobile, and peripheral device problems
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and hardware
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Perform routine system updates and preventive maintenance for optimal IT performance
  • Record all support requests in a ticketing system and ensure timely resolution
  • Educate and guide employees on proper usage of IT systems and tools
  • Work closely with the IT team on new projects and internal initiatives
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and IT best practices
  • Assist with procurement, inventory management, and tracking of IT equipment
  • Follow IT policies and security guidelines to ensure data protection and compliance
Skills Required
  • 1. Technical Skills
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, system installation, and software configuration
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues, network errors, and connectivity problems
  • Knowledge of IT security, updates, and routine system maintenance
  • Preferred: Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar
