As a Device Associate, you will work with Amazon’s testing teams to evaluate new features, run test cases, and identify bugs for Amazon Assistant and related products. This position involves manual testing, black-box testing, and quality checks on mobile and desktop applications.
You will be responsible for ensuring that new software builds meet Amazon’s high standards before they are released to customers.
- Execute test cases for Amazon’s mobile and desktop applications
- Report bugs clearly and accurately
- Perform regression testing and repetitive test cycles
- Follow testing guidelines for new releases and builds
- Capture data using software tools such as ADB commands
- Document test results and highlight failures immediately
- Communicate testing updates to the internal teams
- Raise queries and issues on the clarification portal and close them within SLA
- Basic ability to read scripts for troubleshooting
- Ensure accuracy, speed, and quality in testing processes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- IT
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Analytics
- OR equivalent
- Basic understanding of QA/testing concepts
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Word, Excel, and browsers like IE/Firefox
- Good understanding of the Windows environment
- Ability to run and maintain test cases
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with QA tools
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Basic troubleshooting using scripts
- Experience with helpdesk, IT support, QA, or testing (preferred but not mandatory)
